But Takumi Nishijou, a high school otaku plagued by delusions and a constant sense of being watched, couldn’t care less about the real world. He prefers losing himself in online games and anime. His routine shatters when a user named Shogun sends him a gruesome image-a man impaled on a wall. After retreating to an internet cafe to collect himself, Takumi witnesses the exact scene from the photo unfold before him. A blood-soaked girl with pink hair calls out his name, leaving him shaken. Now tangled in the "New Gen" murders, Takumi struggles to separate reality from illusion, convinced the killer is targeting him. Trust becomes a fragile thing as he questions what-and who-is real.
