Bokurano

Fifteen children at a summer camp are enjoying a relaxed vacation when they discover a small cave near the beach. Inside, they find a hidden room and meet a peculiar man named Kokopelli. He invites them to play a game where they take turns controlling a robot to defend Earth from alien threats. Believing it’s just a computer game, all but one child sign a contract to participate. Later that day, an actual giant robot appears, and the children are suddenly teleported into its cockpit. Kokopelli pilots the machine in a battle against another robotic creature. After winning the fight, he tries to explain himself, but the children are abruptly sent back to the ground amid the wreckage. As they try to process what happened, the robot vanishes, leaving them frightened and bewildered. What seemed like an innocent game at first turns out to have real consequences-ones they never expected, and which will force them to confront their pasts as they move forward.
