Train Heartnet is a cold, precise assassin known as "Black Cat," working for the shadowy organization Chronos. He carries out his missions without hesitation, leaving no room for mercy. One night, he crosses paths with Saya Minatsuki, a cheerful bounty hunter whose outlook on life slowly begins to change him. Inspired by her, Train abandons his ruthless ways and chooses to become a bounty hunter himself, seeking redemption. But Chronos-especially Creed Diskenth, Train’s obsessive former subordinate-won’t let him walk away so easily. They’re determined to drag the "Black Cat" back into the darkness, no matter the cost. Now a fugitive from his past, Train must navigate a dangerous world where the echoes of gunfire are never far behind.
