Black Butler - S03

Queen Victoria of England tasks her trusted agent, thirteen-year-old Earl Ciel Phantomhive, with looking into a string of mysterious deaths in southern Germany. In every case, the victims had ventured into the so-called Werewolves' Forest before developing grotesque deformities and dying. Local rumors attribute the deaths to a "witch's curse," a belief deeply rooted in the area's folklore. Skeptical of supernatural explanations, Ciel and his demonic butler, Sebastian Michaelis-along with the rest of the Phantomhive household-arrive at a secluded village hidden in the Werewolves' Forest. Its inhabitants are all women, fiercely distrustful of outsiders, and devoted to a peculiar young girl with emerald eyes and bound feet: Sieglinde "Green Witch" Sullivan. As Ciel and Sebastian dig deeper, they too fall prey to the curse, forcing them to confront the unsettling possibility that the local legends may hold some truth after all.
