"Battle Programmer Shirase," or "BPS," follows a skilled hacker who works purely for personal satisfaction, not money. His motivations make sense only to those like him, and his laid-back attitude often clashes with the serious jobs he takes on. When the so-called "King of America" starts wreaking havoc online, Shirase finds himself constantly swamped with work. Each new mission introduces him to an ever-growing cast of quirky characters.
