Basilisk - S01

Ten years have passed since the war between the Iga and Kouga ninja clans ended. Though the two sides now live in peace, the old hatreds may not be entirely gone. Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga, heirs to their clans, should have every chance to let their love flourish-but not everyone accepts how the ancient conflict was settled. Conflicting stories about the final battle between Gennosuke Kouga and Oboro Iga have stirred doubts in Tadanaga Tokugawa, whom the Kouga once fought for. As tensions between the clans begin to simmer again, the shifting political winds risk tearing the two lovers apart, echoing the fate of the generation before them.
