BARTENDER Glass of God

Miwa Kurushima and her coworker Yukari Higuchi are searching for someone talented enough to manage the counter bar at the prestigious Hotel Cardinal. The hotel’s chairman has just one condition: the bartender must be capable of creating the legendary "Glass of God." Since Miwa doesn’t fully grasp what this means, her efforts lead nowhere-every candidate she finds fails to meet the chairman’s exacting standards. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Ginza’s busy streets is Eden Hall, a warm and intimate bar run by Ryuu Sasakura. A gifted mixologist, Ryuu has an uncanny ability to know just what drink will comfort his customers, no matter their troubles. Each glass he prepares is made with care, offering solace to the weary and troubled who step through his door. By chance, the chairman witnesses Ryuu’s extraordinary skill and is instantly determined to bring him to Hotel Cardinal. He becomes a regular at Eden Hall, returning day after day to persuade Ryuu to leave his bar behind. But even with Miwa’s help, convincing this particular bartender proves far more challenging than expected.
