Bannertail: The Story of Gray Squirrel

After being born, a young squirrel finds his way to a farm but is caught by a human. The person tries to give the squirrel to their pet cat, but instead of rejecting him, the cat takes pity and raises the squirrel as her own, naming him Banner. The two live happily together on the farm-until a fire breaks out, destroying their home and tearing Banner apart from his adoptive mother.
