Backflip!!

Shoutarou Futaba has always enjoyed sports, but in middle school, he never made it past the bench on his baseball team. One day, he happens to see gymnasts practicing in the park and, on impulse, attends a rhythmic gymnastics tournament. There, the Shoushukan High School team delivers an impressive performance, but they finish second-to-last due to penalties for not having a full six-member lineup. The skill on display leaves Shoutarou mesmerized, and he chooses to enroll at Shoushukan with the goal of joining the team-even though he’s never done gymnastics before. Alongside Ryouya Misato, a former junior tournament runner-up and natural talent, Shoutarou is recruited to fill out the roster. With six members now complete, the team prepares for the Inter-High tournament. To have any hope of winning, Shoutarou must quickly learn the fundamentals of rhythmic gymnastics while finding a way to work in sync with his new teammates.
