Baccano! - S01

In 1930s Chicago, the transcontinental train Flying Pussyfoot sets off on a journey that will soon paint the country in blood. Meanwhile, in New York, a determined scientist named Szilard and his reluctant assistant Ennis hunt for stolen bottles of an immortality elixir, while mafia gangs escalate their violent feud. Centuries earlier, aboard the Advena Avis in 1711, a group of alchemists discovers the true cost of eternal life. Based on the acclaimed light novels, "Baccano!" weaves together seemingly disconnected events across time and place, revealing a larger tale of alchemy, survival, and the pursuit of immortality. At the heart of it all are the cheerful, bumbling thieves Isaac and Miria, whose actions tie together a cast of characters, each with their own secrets and motives, forging bonds and consequences that will last lifetimes.
