Just before the new school year begins, Misaki Fujioka travels to Yomiyama City to visit her twin sister, Mei Misaki. They spend their last summer days wandering the sweltering town, stopping at places like a shopping center and a shooting stall. While exploring Mei's basement, she shares her unease about joining her new class-rumored to be cursed. Eager for more fun, the twins head to a nearby amusement park. But their lazy summer outing takes a dark turn when Mei notices the "color of death" on Misaki-a chilling sign that disaster is coming.
