Angel Beats!

Death has always been one of life’s greatest mysteries, leaving humanity with unanswered questions about what comes after. For 17-year-old Yuzuru Otonashi, that mystery is suddenly solved when he wakes up with no memory in a strange dimension-a place between life and death that reveals the unsettling truth of the afterlife. This otherworldly realm takes the shape of a high school, a refuge for those who met untimely deaths. Resentful of how their lives ended, the school’s inhabitants have formed the Afterlife Battlefront, a rebellious group determined to defy Kanade "Angel" Tachibana, their god-like student council president. When their leader, Yuri Nakamura, recruits Otonashi to fight against Angel and seize control of their fate, he begins to question their motives. Unsure of the battlefront’s morality, Otonashi ventures behind enemy lines, seeking to understand the opposing side of their shared destiny.
