Akiba's Trip The Animation

Siblings Tamotsu and Niwaka Denkigai, both avid otaku, are browsing Akihabara when the district is suddenly swarmed by vampiric monsters dressed in cosplay. These creatures, called "Bugged Ones," can take control of anyone they bite, and soon chaos spreads across the city. When Tamotsu is cornered by one of them, he's saved by the enigmatic Matome Mayonaka, who fights with a baseball bat. The two team up to battle more Bugged Ones, but during a fight, Tamotsu is mortally wounded while shielding Matome. Left with no other option, she revives him as a high-level Bugged One-just like herself. Now, Tamotsu and Matome, joined by the energetic otaku cosplayer Arisa Ahokainen, form the group "The Electric Mayonnaise." Their strategy for defeating the Bugged Ones is as bizarre as it is effective: tearing off their enemies' clothes and exposing them to sunlight!
