Akame ga Kill!

Night Raid is the secret assassination unit of the Revolutionary Army, a rebellion formed to overthrow Prime Minister Honest. The prime minister exploits the young emperor’s lack of experience to satisfy his own hunger for power, leaving the nation to suffer in poverty and chaos. Though the members of Night Raid are skilled killers, they know their actions are not noble and that they may pay a price for ruthlessly removing anyone who threatens the revolution’s success. Their newest recruit is Tatsumi, a naive boy from a distant village who set out to save his struggling hometown. He is drawn not only to Night Raid’s ideals but also their unwavering determination. "Akame ga Kill!" follows Tatsumi as he battles the Empire, confronting deadly weapons, rival assassins, and his own beliefs-learning what it really means to fight for a cause as an assassin.
