When a space colony declared independence from the Earth Federation, it sparked the brutal 7th Space War-a full-scale conflict between Earth and the colonies. The Federation fought back using advanced mobile suits known as Gundams, but the Space Revolutionary Army retaliated by dropping countless space colonies onto Earth. The catastrophic impact triggered a seven-year nuclear winter, collapsing the Federation. Yet, the devastation also prevented the revolutionaries from invading the planet. Fifteen years later, in After War 0015, a New Federation has risen to restore order on Earth while the colonial forces regroup in space. By sheer luck, fifteen-year-old Garrod Ran stumbles upon an old Federation mobile suit-the Gundam X-and joins the crew of the Vulture ship Freeden. Together, they fight to prevent the warring factions from repeating history’s tragic mistakes.
