After the Rain

Akira Tachibana, a quiet high school student and former track athlete, hasn't been able to run like she used to after a serious foot injury. Though popular with her classmates, she pays little attention to the boys at school. While working part-time at the Garden Cafe, Akira finds herself drawn to the manager, Masami Kondou, a 45-year-old man. Despite the age difference, she admires his sincere kindness toward customers-a trait others see as weakness. As they spend more time together at the cafe, her feelings deepen. Wrestling with uncertainty, Akira decides to confess, but the outcome remains unclear.
