Teenager Haruto Tsukishiro wakes up in an unfamiliar bedroom inside a dream world. On his phone, he discovers a strange app. When he opens it, a bizarre woman appears and attempts to pull him into her realm. Just in time, a mysterious white-haired girl intervenes, breaking their connection and helping him escape. She explains the woman is a witch, but before she can say more, their conversation is interrupted. Later, when Haruto re-enters the dream world, he encounters Katsumi Kanzaki, an anthropomorphic, talking cat. With the witch’s minions chasing them, the white-haired girl opens a door so they can flee. After their escape, Haruto describes their unseen savior-visible only to him-and Katsumi, an expert on dream world research, recognizes her as "Lily," a recurring presence across different dreamscapes. Hoping to return to reality through a blue door, they venture back into the witch’s domain. Cornered and in danger, Lily reveals the truth: witches suffer from "Sleeping Beauty Syndrome," a deep, coma-like sleep caused by real-world suffering. They can’t wake up unless they’re defeated in the dream world. After overcoming the witch and reaching the blue door, Haruto and Katsumi part ways, vowing to reunite in reality. But when Haruto steps through, he finds himself back in the dream world bedroom. Determined to understand why he can’t leave, Haruto and Katsumi set out to unravel the mysteries of the witches, Lily, and his own trapped existence.
