Zoids: Genesis

A thousand years after natural disasters left the planet Zi nearly lifeless, humanity has slowly rebuilt civilization, recovering ancient Zoids through salvage and mining. In one village, the people revere a massive sword as a sacred relic. During a deep-sea dive, a teenage boy stumbles upon an ancient Liger-type Zoid. Soon after, skeletal Bio-Zoids attack the village, seeking to steal a powerful generator hidden there. The boy awakens the Liger and learns the village's holy sword is actually the Zoid's weapon. Together, they drive off the mysterious invaders-but the threat may not be over yet.
