Tide-Line Blue

Fourteen years after the disaster known as the "Hammer of Eden" wiped out six billion people and submerged 90% of the land, the New United Nations emerged to restore peace on the ravaged earth. Keel, a young boy, lives in the town of Yabitsu-a place that thrived thanks to the nuclear generator left behind by the catastrophe. His closest relative, Aoi, serves as the New UN’s secretary general. She sees the disaster as a chance to forge a world where nations set aside racial and religious divides to support each other. But her vision crumbles as nations refuse to change. Gould, a hardened military officer, believes force is the only way to impose order. Commanding the nuclear submarine Ulysses and its crew-including Keel’s brother, Tean-he launches a coup, declaring war on the New United Nations and striking Yabitsu.
