The Art of Natural Healing

This 15-minute short film was originally screened for a limited time at the Ghibli Museum. It follows Koro, a puppy belonging to a young girl in a small town. One morning, she accidentally leaves the gate open when leaving for school, and Koro slips out to explore the streets. A girl on a bicycle picks him up, but he escapes at a train crossing. He befriends an old dog and its gentle owners while his worried owner and her father post "Lost" flyers around town. Exhausted, Koro dozes off beneath a delivery van, and the driver gives him a ride. As they near home, Koro catches the familiar scents of his neighborhood, jumps from the truck, and happily reunites with his overjoyed owner.
