Terminator Zero

Years after the AI Skynet seized control of the world in 2022, humanity's resistance continues its struggle against the machines. After a brutal battle, Eiko, a Japanese guerrilla fighter, corners a Terminator-Skynet's most lethal cyborg. She extracts vital intelligence about its plans, enabling the resistance to send her back in time to alter the future. In August 1997, just before Skynet's nuclear strike, known as Judgment Day, Malcolm Lee is working on Kokoro, an AI meant to protect humanity. As Judgment Day looms, a Terminator arrives in Japan, targeting Malcolm and his children before Kokoro can achieve self-awareness. Malcolm must ensure his creation doesn't follow Skynet's path-one that ends with the eradication of humankind.
