During a computer class at school, Saneatsu Narita encounters a bizarre screen with a yes-or-no question that vanishes almost instantly. The next morning, he awakens to a world where nearly everyone is dead-except for himself and a handful of others. A mysterious figure called the Emperor delivers an announcement, revealing the truth behind the situation. The question Saneatsu saw was part of a deadly game called Tasuuketsu. Each day, the survivors will face a new question on their screens. Their answers decide who lives or dies-choosing the same as the majority means certain death, and the last person standing will earn the right to meet the Emperor. Determined to outwit the Emperor, Saneatsu uses hidden envelopes containing special powers to aid him and his small group of friends. As they navigate the game, they must stay one step ahead of the other players’ schemes and survive the Emperor’s twisted rules.
