In November 2008, SEGA released "Sonic: Night of the Werehog," an online animated short promoting "Sonic World Adventure" (titled "Sonic Unleashed" in North America and Europe). On a stormy night, Sonic and Chip explore a deserted haunted house, only to run into two playful ghosts. The ghosts love scaring visitors to snap their frightened photos, hoping to impress the ghost girl who lives with them. While they easily terrify Chip, Sonic remains completely unfazed. Frustrated, the ghosts team up to finally get a reaction out of him. But with the full moon rising, Sonic might just turn the tables on them.
