Her experiences with others help her slowly build confidence in herself. Though she's far from perfect, Teru keeps growing as she figures out what it really means to be a hero. One day after school, Teru meets Ai Tennouji while wandering the city. The two become fast friends, and Teru starts to let her guard down around her. But she soon learns Ai has run away from her hometown, searching for something tied to Teru's role as Shy. With Amarariruku still a lurking threat, Teru must decide how much she trusts Ai-and how far she's willing to go to work with her.
