Samurai Deeper Kyo

In 1600, during the misty Battle of Sekigahara, two legendary swordsmen faced off. One was Kyoushirou Mibu, a noble warrior gifted with the Mibu Clan's unique abilities. The other was "Demon Eyes" Kyou, a crimson-haired, blood-eyed killer known as the thousand-man slayer. Their epic duel was interrupted when a meteor struck the battlefield, causing both to disappear. Four years later, a bounty hunter named Yuya Shiina tracks down Kyoushirou-now a lecherous traveling medicine seller deep in debt. As she tries to claim her reward, they’re attacked by a monstrous creature intent on consuming Kyoushirou. The attack awakens "Demon Eyes" Kyou, whose spirit has been sealed inside Kyoushirou’s body since that fateful battle. This sets in motion a sweeping story of two legendary swordsmen and the hidden truths they must uncover.
