After centuries of devoted labor, Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha decide they deserve a break and descend from the heavens to rent a modest apartment in Tokyo. Trying to stay unnoticed, they indulge in the simple pleasures of modern life-visiting amusement parks, hunting for seasonal sales, and savoring the little things. Along the way, they honor each other’s traditions, witness the passing seasons, and quietly discover the world around them.
