Ryu the Primitive Boy

When Ryuu is born, his tribe attempts to sacrifice him to a Tyrannosaurus called Shirano due to the color of his skin. A monkey rescues him and raises him as her own. Meanwhile, Ryuu's mother leaves the tribe to search for him. Sixteen years later, Ryuu meets a girl named Ran, who was sold to his former tribe. The tribe, furious to see him alive, tries to sacrifice him again-this time by burning him. Before they succeed, Shirano massacres the tribe, including Ryuu's adoptive mother. Ryuu then sets out with Ran to find his mother and her brother, Don.
