Pumpkin Scissors

Three years have passed since the Royal Empire and the Republic of Frost ended their long war, leaving both nations struggling to rebuild. Alice L. Malvin, a determined young woman, commands the Pumpkin Scissors, an imperial army unit dedicated to postwar relief efforts. During a mission to help a village overrun by rogue soldiers, Alice encounters Randal Oland, a former soldier marked by scars and a troubled past-yet with a surprising kindness. Inspired by the Pumpkin Scissors' work, he joins their fight. But in the midst of battle, Randal falls into a strange trance after seeing a glowing blue lantern, unleashing terrifying strength that obliterates their enemies. Though shaken by Randal’s violent transformation, Alice sees the goodness beneath and invites him to join her squad. She believes his gentle spirit belongs with the Pumpkin Scissors, no matter what darkness he carries.
