Princess Comet

Twelve-year-old Comet is the princess of Harmonica Star, sent to Earth after the prince of Tambourine Star fails to appear at a royal ball where he was supposed to choose his bride. To identify him, she must look for the starlight in his eyes. Along the way, she grows fond of Earth and its people. However, she isn’t the only one searching-Princess Meteor of Castanet Star has also arrived to find the prince. Comet is accompanied by Rubba Ball, a small dog with a star at the tip of his tail. She soon learns she isn’t the first royal to visit Earth; another princess came before her, fell in love, and stayed, leaving behind her pet, Bunny-a white cat with bunny ears and a tiny heart on her tail-who now lives like a forest fairy. Comet draws her power from her home’s stars, channeling it through her baton. She wears a special pendant where Rubba Ball appears, and it helps her sense the prince’s presence.
