Noir

On a sunny afternoon in her Paris apartment, Mireille Bouquet, a professional assassin, gets an unusual email from Kirika Yuumura, a young student from Japan, asking her to join in "making a pilgrimage to the past." At first, Mireille dismisses it as nonsense-until the email plays a song she remembers from her childhood. When the two meet in person, they’re ambushed by armed men. Mireille handles herself well in the fight, but she’s surprised to find Kirika is just as skilled, taking down multiple attackers with ease. Despite her deadly abilities, Kirika confesses she feels no guilt for killing and has no memory of how she learned these skills-or even who she truly is. Suspecting a connection between them, Mireille agrees to work with Kirika. Calling themselves "Noir," they take on jobs while piecing together the secrets of their pasts. But as they delve deeper, their shaky partnership is pushed to its limits, with each mission revealing more about the truth they’re searching for.
