Kekkaishi

Yoshimura Sumimura belongs to a family of "Kekkaishi" - people with supernatural powers who battle evil spirits called Ayakashi. These demons are drawn to the energy radiating from Karasumori, the same land where Yoshimura's high school stands. Now, he must defend his school and hometown, though he’d much rather spend his time baking cakes than fighting grotesque creatures after dark. Luckily, he’s not alone. His childhood friend and neighbor, Tokine Yukimura, fights alongside him, despite coming from a rival Kekkaishi family. Together, they make a strong team - and teamwork is essential, as the Ayakashi launch relentless attacks, trying to seize Karasumori for themselves. Meanwhile, a hidden organization watches, waiting for the right moment to strike.
