Famous Dog Lassie

John is a bright, lively boy growing up in a quiet English coal-mining village. One day, he discovers a lost puppy wandering among a flock of sheep. He brings her home and names her Lassie, and the two quickly form a deep bond, becoming as close as siblings. With her sweet nature and cleverness, Lassie wins the hearts of everyone in town. But their peaceful days are cut short when the local mine owner shuts down operations, claiming the coal has run dry. John pleads with him to reconsider and search again. The owner agrees-but only if he can take Lassie to Scotland in return. Priscilla, the owner’s granddaughter and John’s friend, can’t bear to see Lassie locked away. She frees the dog from her cage, and Lassie begins a grueling journey back to her home and the boy who loves her.
