Joe Shimamura and his friends may look like ordinary people, but they’re far from it. Joe is actually Cyborg 009, part of a team of cyborgs who fight for justice. Each of them has a unique ability-some can melt anything, others can breathe underwater or fly. They were all forcibly turned into cyborgs by the Neo-Black Ghosts, an organization that wanted to exploit their powers. But instead of serving their captors, the nine cyborgs joined forces to oppose them and stand against evil in all its forms.
