A lighthearted fantasy adventure about a battle against invaders from another world. Dark, the ruler of the shadowy realm "Don Kurai," schemes to conquer the human world. According to legend, Don Kurai holds three treasures tied to a destined hero. Dark seizes one of them-a copper bell-but the other two, a golden sword and a silver shield, are sent to the human world. Shinnosuke unwittingly steps into Dark's trap, opening a gateway between the worlds, but he is chosen as the hero by the golden spear. With help from Mata Tami, a girl from Don Kurai, the Nohara Family gains the power to transform and fights back against Dark's forces.
