Ten years ago, a fairy named Daisy appeared before a young boy, Eiji Hoshimiya, and asked him to make a single wish. What he wished for remains unknown, but the result was disastrous. An event known as the "Great Destruction" tore the world apart, causing widespread ruin and countless deaths. Now a high school student, Eiji lives only to care for his ailing sister. He has no memory of his wish, only the guilt of knowing it triggered the catastrophe. In the years since, thousands of others have gained the power to fulfill their deepest desires. These individuals, called "Orders," are despised by society and hunted as dangerous. Yet some among them seek vengeance against Eiji, blaming him for the lives lost in the Great Destruction. As assassins close in, Eiji struggles to survive while grappling with the unanswered questions: what did he wish for, and why did it bring such devastation?
