Beast King GoLion

Golion, a sentient robot with immense power, misuses his strength by ruthlessly attacking and killing creatures called Deathblack Beastmen, bragging that no one can stop him. As punishment for his arrogance and cruelty, a divine cosmic entity splits him into five separate lion robots. In 1999, five young men return to Earth from a space journey, only to discover it has been devastated by nuclear war. After crossing paths with the alien Galra, they find themselves on the planet Altea, where they learn that the five lion robots-Golion's scattered fragments-lie dormant across the land. Now, these youths must find a way to reunite the lions and reform Golion, humanity's last hope for survival. (Source: ANN)
